How to disinfect melamine tableware?

1.The extreme temperature resistance of melamine tableware is -30℃ at low temperature and +120℃ at high temperature. According to the national QB1999-1994 testing standard, the dry heat resistance temperature (oven) does not exceed 80℃, and the wet heat resistance temperature (boiling) does not exceed 100℃.

2.The temperature of melamine tableware using dry disinfection should not exceed 80°C, and the time should not exceed 30 minutes, such as hot air circulation disinfection, infrared disinfection, ultraviolet disinfection, etc.; the above disinfection equipment must have temperature control and time control devices to prevent over-temperature and overtime of disinfection. Melamine tableware should be kept away from heating devices and air outlets.

3.The temperature of wet disinfection of melamine tableware should not exceed 100℃, and the normal pressure time should not exceed 30 minutes, such as boiling, electric steamer, etc. When melamine tableware is disinfected in an electric steamer, the steamer must have vents to ensure normal pressure in the steamer, and there must be temperature control and time control devices to prevent damage to the tableware due to over-temperature and over-time disinfection.

4.During the disinfection process, melamine tableware should be heated evenly. A certain distance should be maintained between melamine tableware to ensure uniform heat conduction and disinfection effect. It is strictly forbidden to directly stack melamine tableware together for disinfection, which will not only fail to achieve the disinfection effect, but also easily cause uneven heating of the tableware and damage the tableware. According to the different shapes of melamine tableware, use the stainless steel grid rack that comes with the disinfection cabinet to correctly place the melamine tableware, and then start disinfection.

5.After the melamine tableware is disinfected, it should be taken out of the disinfection equipment in time and placed in a cool and ventilated place to cool naturally. It is strictly forbidden to store the tableware in a disinfection cabinet with a high temperature for a long time. For large melamine trays or melamine compartment trays, the number of stacked trays should not exceed 40.

6.It is recommended to use a dishwasher and disinfectant machine or a three-in-one melamine tableware disinfection cabinet with ozone, ultraviolet light and hot air circulation.
