  On June 1, 2024, Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Bureau randomly inspected 16 batches of melamine plastic tableware products and all were qualified.

  China Quality News Network: Recently, the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration released the results of the provincial supervision and random inspection of melamine plastic tableware product quality in 2024.The fifth batch of provincial supervision and random inspections in 2024 inspected a total of 16 batches of melamine plastic tableware products, including 10 batches in the production field and 6 batches in the circulation field.

  This spot check is based on the requirements of QB/T 1999-1994 "Melamine Plastic Tableware", GB/T 41001-2021 "Melamine Plastic Tableware", GB 4806.7-2016 "National Food Safety Standard Food Contact Plastic Materials and Products" and other standards.

The sensory requirements, total migration, potassium permanganate consumption, heavy metals (measured in Pb), discoloration test, melamine migration, formaldehyde migration, dry heat resistance, low temperature resistance, wet heat resistance, pollution resistance, warping (bottom), and falling of melamine plastic tableware products were tested.

  No unqualified items were found during the spot check.
